1. Eligibility: a. These rules apply to all individuals, organizations, or companies nominated for or awarded a prize or recognition (hereafter referred to as "awardees"). b. Awardees must comply with all eligibility criteria specified for the award category.

2. Live Event Requirement: a. Awardees are expected to send a representative to a live event or ceremony (hereafter referred to as the "event") where the award will be presented. b. The event details, including date, time, and location, will be communicated to the awardee in advance.

3. Reserved Right to Refuse: a. The awarding organization and its judges reserve the right to refuse to present the award to any awardee if the company or individual fails to send a representative to the live event without a valid reason. b. Valid reasons for absence include medical emergencies, natural disasters, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of the awardee. Documentation may be required to support such claims.

4. Notification and Communication: a. Awardees will be notified of their selection and the event details via email or other designated communication channels. b. Awardees who anticipate difficulties in sending a representative to the event must promptly inform the awarding organization, providing a detailed explanation.

5. Alternative Arrangements: a. In exceptional cases where an awardee cannot send a representative due to valid reasons, the awarding organization may consider alternative arrangements for award presentation, such as a virtual presentation or deferred award reception.

6. Deadline for Confirmation: a. Awardees are required to confirm their attendance or unavailability for the live event within the deadline specified in the notification.

7. Judges' Decision: a. The judges' decision to refuse an award due to non-compliance with the live event requirement will be final and not subject to appeal.

8. Public Announcement: a. The awarding organization reserves the right to publicly announce the refusal of an award due to non-compliance with the live event requirement.

9. Award Forfeiture: a. Failure to send a representative or failure to provide a valid reason for absence within the specified deadline may result in the forfeiture of the award.

10. Compliance with Event Rules: a. Awardees and their representatives must comply with all rules and regulations of the live event.

11. Event Costs: a. Awardees are responsible for any costs associated with attending the live event, including travel, accommodation, and registration fees.

12. Amendments: a. These rules are subject to change, and any amendments will be communicated to awardees in a timely manner.

By accepting the award, the awardee agrees to abide by these rules and acknowledges the importance of sending a representative to the live event as an integral part of the award presentation process. Failure to comply with these rules may result in the award being refused or forfeited.
